What Does 1 Timothy 4:15 Mean?
Paul tells Timothy to dwell on these matters and to pour himself into them completely. Half-hearted attention will not do.
When a person gives himself wholly to growth in godliness and ministry, the progress shows. Paul wants Timothy's advance to be visible to all, an encouragement to the church and a witness to the power of devoted effort.
