About this church
The Station Church serves the Hoover area from Park South Drive in Bessemer, with Sunday worship at 9 and 10:30 a.m. Guests are greeted on arrival and can pick up coffee or bottled water in the Missions Cafe before entering worship. The church describes the atmosphere as casual and multigenerational, with passionate music led by a full band and worship team. Children from kindergarten through fifth grade have their own Station Kidz service, including worship, a message, and breakout groups, while small groups called HUBs meet on campus during both Sunday hours and at selected Sunday- and Wednesday-evening times.
The Station's stated purpose is making disciples who affect the nations, their neighbors, and the next generation. Students in grades six through twelve use Station Students for spiritual connection, peer community, and events; college participants can join Bible studies, service opportunities, college nights, and weekly Sunday worship. Missions combine international trips with local service. The congregation names Uganda, Bangladesh, Guatemala, Germany, the Himalayas, and other destinations among its global connections, while an ongoing food drive collects nonperishable items for Grace Klein Community. First-time families should decide whether to attend at 9 or 10:30 and whether adults want a HUB during the alternate hour. Children's registration and current event dates should be checked before arrival, especially outside the standard Sunday pattern.
