Victory Missionary Baptist Church is a Jemison congregation founded in 1971 with twenty-five charter members. Its weekly life includes Sunday School, morning and evening worship, children’s and teen programs, adult study, Spanish-language ministry, missions, and a Christian school. Iglesia Hispana holds its general Sunday gathering at 1:30 p.m.; Wednesday children and youth meet at 6:30, followed by Spanish Bible study and prayer at 7:00. Junior Church serves ages six through twelve after Sunday School. AWANA uses Bible stories, songs, crafts, Scripture memory, and handbook activities; students move into Fuel Youth beginning in sixth grade and Ignite for high school.
