Overgaard Baptist Church

About this church

Overgaard Baptist Church offers a full Sunday sequence of Bible study, worship, children’s and youth activities, plus Wednesday service and monthly fellowship. The congregation’s visitor guide is practical about arrival, Bibles, greeters, and clothing: there is no dress code, and guests can receive help finding the right room. Missions and men’s and women’s ministries connect weekly teaching with service and relationships beyond the main worship hour.

Sunday School begins at 9:15 a.m., followed by worship from 10:30 to noon. Sunday evening programs run from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.; Kids Club serves ages four through sixth grade, while youth group meets at 5:00 from September through April. Youth Bible study at 9:15 continues year-round. Wednesday service begins at 6:00 p.m. Men gather for breakfast and a devotional on the third Saturday at 8:00 a.m. Because the youth evening program follows a school-year season while the morning study does not, families should distinguish between the two. First-time guests are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early for a welcome gift, a tour, and the church’s Book Nook.
