About this church

INChurch Phoenix gathers Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to noon at its North 32nd Street suites. The congregation describes its worship as dynamic and its teaching as life-giving, within a church family spanning multiple ages and ethnic backgrounds. Its beliefs include the baptism of the Holy Spirit for service, prayer as essential to church life, and a mission to turn non-Christians into committed followers of Jesus.

The church grew from The Refuge Youth Center, a nonprofit founded in 2001 to give teenagers a physically and emotionally safe place for relationships, recreation, creativity, and spiritual development. Refuge continues Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. for middle- and high-school students, using worship, biblical teaching, discipleship, basketball, skateboarding, art, music, and other interests to reach young people who may feel overlooked. RAD Kids and nursery care serve younger families, while connect groups, a monthly men's breakfast, young adults, and mission projects provide adult pathways. International work includes church planting, food, schooling, medical care, and prayer in Nigeria. INChurch's identity is therefore inseparable from its long-running neighborhood youth ministry.
