Phoenix United Reformed Church gathers twice each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The morning and evening services use different songs and sermons, so the later hour is a distinct worship gathering rather than a repeat. From September through May, Sunday School meets between them from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Both worship services are livestreamed. The visitor guide also notes that modern assisted-listening devices are available, and the church offers a private contact form received by its pastors for guests who want help before arriving.

PURC's mission is to connect the gospel of Jesus Christ to all of life so people can know, serve, and enjoy God. Its Reformed identity includes Scripture as the supreme authority, salvation by grace through faith in Christ, covenant baptism, ordained ministers, and pastoral governance by local elders assisted by deacons. Elder care is unusually personal: elected elders work in districts and aim to visit members at least every two years or when requested, including at homes, coffee shops, or restaurants. Youth ministry partners with parents through learning, fellowship, service, and outreach across the Phoenix area; a school-year catechism class for young people meets during the Sunday education hour. Newcomers can choose either service or make a fuller day of morning worship and Sunday School.
