Mission del Sol Presbyterian Church

About this church

Mission del Sol Presbyterian Church is a Tempe congregation where worship, learning, fellowship, music, and active mission are presented as connected parts of Christian life. Sunday worship follows a traditional structure while drawing on both traditional and contemporary music from organ, piano, choir, bells, band, and soloists. The congregation describes worship through Word, message, prayer, sacraments, and music as preparation for living and sharing faith.

In-person worship and the Facebook livestream begin Sunday at 9:30 a.m. and ordinarily last about an hour. Fellowship follows at 10:30, with adult Sunday School and the CREW group for grades six through twelve at 10:45. Children from prekindergarten through fifth grade have Sunday School during worship. A staffed nursery for infants and toddlers is available from 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. in Room 105 of the Christian Education building, and greeters can escort first-time families there. The Mission Chorale and bell choir rehearse on Thursday evenings from September through May, not during summer, so those hours are seasonal rather than year-round visitor events. Recorded services are posted to the church website on Mondays. Guests should use the official homepage for special projects or schedule changes.
