St Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church

About this church

St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Wickenburg celebrates Sunday Mass at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. in English and at noon in Spanish, with daily Mass Tuesday through Friday at 8 a.m. Confession is offered before each Sunday Mass, after the Tuesday and Friday morning Masses, and by appointment. The parish also serves Our Lady of Guadalupe Mission in Aguila, where a Spanish Mass is held Saturday evening at 6 p.m. Eucharistic adoration takes place Thursday evening in Spanish and Friday morning. Times can shift, so confirm the current schedule on the parish website.

Families with children are encouraged to sit wherever they are comfortable, and a small cry room is available. Books in the pews lay out the order of Mass, the postures and the prayers, so visitors unfamiliar with Catholic worship can follow along; those who are not Catholic are asked not to receive Communion but may come forward for a blessing. Modest, respectful clothing is requested. The parish's St. Vincent de Paul conference runs a drive-through food pantry and welcomes volunteers, and other lay ministries include Communion ministers, ministers of care for the homebound, altar servers and a Saturday afternoon Rosary group. The parish office is open weekday mornings, and staff speak Spanish.
