Lakeside Baptist Church

About this church

Lakeside Baptist Church describes itself as a small, traditional Hot Springs congregation with a large heart for Christ and its neighbors. Bible study runs from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. Sunday, followed by worship at 11:00; the visitor page also lists evening worship at 6:00 and Wednesday prayer and Bible study at 6:00. A typical morning includes a call to worship, welcome, several hymns or contemporary songs, prayer, Bible-centered preaching, an invitation, announcements, and congregational prayer concerns. The 11:00 service is carried on Facebook Live.

Parking lots sit east of the sanctuary, with additional spaces and an access ramp near the education building. Children’s ministry is offered as needed by trained teachers; leaders complete background checks and safety training, and the education wing has separate nursery, toddler, children’s, and youth areas. Lakeside began as a mission church in 1965 and continues to emphasize fellowship through Bible studies, monthly potlucks, and occasional movie nights. Its Helping Hands food pantry combines grocery assistance with prayer and personal care for local families. That service-centered identity is especially useful for understanding the congregation beyond attendance numbers. The church meets at 3601 Malvern Road and welcomes questions at 501-262-2063.
