The Cathedral of Saint Andrew is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Little Rock and the seat of the bishop serving all Arkansas. The parish describes its downtown sanctuary as Little Rock’s oldest place of continuing worship. Cathedral life extends from Mass, confession, Eucharistic adoration, and sacred music to youth and young-adult groups, faith formation, support ministries, and service. Lay people contribute as readers, altar servers, ushers, cantors, instrumentalists, and extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion, sharing responsibility for liturgy rather than leaving every role to clergy.

The Saturday Vigil Mass begins at 4:30 p.m., with a first-Saturday Mass at 9:00 a.m. Sunday Masses are at 8:30 a.m., 12:05 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.; adoration, Benediction, and the Rosary begin at 11:20 before the midday Mass. Mass is also celebrated Tuesday through Friday at 12:05. Confession is Saturday at 3:30, Sunday at 11:20, and Wednesday through Friday at 11:30. The cathedral is at 617 South Louisiana Street.
