First United Methodist Church of Sheridan

About this church

First United Methodist Church of Sheridan is a congregation seeking to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world through worship, teaching, children and youth, prayer, mission, and community life. Its mission work connects local service with wider United Methodist outreach, while the children’s and youth schedule gives school-age families clear weekly entry points beyond Sunday worship.

Sunday worship begins at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.; the 11:00 service streams on Facebook. Sunday School meets between services at 10:00. Children and youth have teaching Sunday at 10:00 and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. On Wednesdays, young people may arrive for hangout time at 3:00 before the evening meal and program, but families should confirm the current school-year calendar and pickup details. The site also advertises dated events that should not be mistaken for permanent weekly offerings. Visitors wanting a full morning can attend 9:00 worship, remain for Sunday School, or choose the later service and join online if needed. Families considering the long Wednesday window should contact the church before treating 3:00 as a standing drop-off time throughout holidays or summer.
