Christ the Good Shepherd Church

About this church

Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Adelanto celebrates Sunday Mass in English at 8:30 a.m. and in Spanish at 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Its weekday schedule includes a bilingual Mass at 11 a.m. Wednesday and 6 p.m. liturgies Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The parish also publishes Eucharistic adoration and a first-Saturday devotion at 9 a.m. This bilingual rhythm gives local families several clear options by language and day at the Jonathan Street church.

Parish service includes altar servers who have received First Communion, extraordinary ministers who assist at Mass and bring Communion to sick and homebound people, music ministry, and communal Rosary prayer for the dignity of life. Religious education serves grades two through twelve and includes sacramental preparation for First Communion, with formation also supporting parents in their children's faith. The parish describes its mission through prayer and action that heal, reconcile, and welcome people as the community grows in love, peace, and unity. First-time guests should choose the Sunday liturgy that matches their language preference and check the parish's current announcements for adoration or devotional dates.
