Celebration Church

About this church

Celebration Church of Northwest Bakersfield gathers Sundays at 10:00 a.m. at 10011 Rosedale Highway. Children’s classes take place during the worship service, allowing families to arrive for a single shared start time. The congregation presents itself as a place to worship, learn Scripture, build relationships, and find a ministry setting suited to one’s stage of life. Weekly sermon recordings are available online, giving prospective visitors a way to sample the teaching before attending in person.

The ministry range is notably age-specific. Students meet Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. for food, activities, and devotional teaching. Other groups include women’s ministry, a men’s gathering held every other month, JOY for adults 55 and older, and a monthly community for people roughly 20 to 40. Celebration also takes worship and fellowship into local senior communities, including a third-Sunday visit at Brookdale and services at Bayshire. Those recurring off-site ministries show a congregation looking beyond its own campus. Guests with children or an interest in a particular group should check the events page or call 661-589-0786, since monthly and bimonthly programs do not follow the main weekly rhythm.
