Brownsville Seventh-Day Adventist Church

About this church

Brownsville Seventh-day Adventist Church gathers on Saturday for interactive Sabbath School at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 11:00. The congregation also lists a Friday Bible study at 6:00 p.m. during winter and 7:00 during summer, plus a Wednesday prayer meeting on Zoom at 7:30. Visitors should plan for Saturday rather than Sunday, reflecting Seventh-day Adventist observance of the biblical Sabbath.

Sabbath School uses published study materials and discussion to explore Scripture before the main worship service. The church describes itself as a Christian family and invites newcomers into Bible study, worship, and prayer, with online study options available for people who cannot attend locally. Its beliefs are organized around Scripture, God, humanity, salvation, church, Christian life, and last-day events, with the Bible treated as the authoritative guide for doctrine and character. First-time guests can arrive before 9:30 for the complete morning or shortly before 11:00 for worship alone, and should use the current season when choosing Friday's start time.
