First Baptist Church

About this church

First Baptist Church of Cambria worships at 2120 Green Street on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in the main auditorium and live on YouTube. The congregation describes itself as warm and unpretentious, with a three-part emphasis on thriving in relationship with God, sharing genuine relationships, and restoring the community and world. Recorded video and audio messages make it possible to understand the teaching before attending.

FBC began as a small Bible study on the Sibley Ranch south of town more than 50 years ago. After meeting in several locations, the church built the recognizable campus near Ardath Drive and Highway 1. That local history supports its present identity as a close church family that takes following Jesus and the trustworthiness of the Bible seriously without taking itself too seriously. Small-group studies, women's ministry, health-focused fellowship, sewing for a Christian hospital in Bangladesh, retreats, and service projects extend life beyond Sunday. Visitors can simply arrive for 10:30, join the livestream, or review current events to find a smaller setting for relationships and practical service.
