Ceres Seventh-day Adventist Church

About this church

Ceres Seventh-day Adventist Church meets at 1633 Central Avenue in Ceres. Its Saturday schedule begins with Sabbath School at 9:30 a.m., followed by worship at 11:00 in person and by livestream. A Wednesday prayer meeting is listed at 7:00 p.m., and recordings of previous services are available online. The congregation is part of the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church and describes faith as shaping worship, family life, health, work, stewardship, relationships, and care for the wider world.

Community Services distributes donated food, clothing, and selected household items on the first and third Thursdays from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The church also hosts a Second Harvest Mobile Fresh distribution on the third Tuesday, with eligibility and registration details published on its site. Children and teenagers can participate in the Ceres Lightbearers Pathfinder Club, a scouting-style program that combines Christian faith, outdoor skills, discipline, leadership, and service. These recurring ministries give the church a practical community role beyond Sabbath worship. Confirm distribution dates and current program requirements before making a special trip.
