The Garden Church

About this church

The Garden Church in Chatsworth holds in-person and online worship Sundays at 11 a.m. A typical service lasts about one hour and fifteen minutes, opening with upbeat live worship before the pastor’s message. Music combines contemporary songs, older favorites, and occasional praise-team originals, with lyrics displayed on the main screen. Clothing ranges from casual to business casual, and marked guest parking is near the front entrance. The congregation belongs to the Evangelical Covenant Church and describes its purpose as multiplying disciples who connect with God, belong, grow, serve, and share the gospel.

Garden Kids provides age-appropriate worship and interactive formation at 11 for ages three through fifth grade, with check-in at the building entrance. Middle- and high-school students begin Sunday in the sanctuary, then move to Room 1 for their own sermon; once monthly they remain for the entire service. Youth also meet Fridays from 7:30 to 10 p.m. during the school year, except fifth Fridays. Community groups, young adults, mentoring, prayer, and local and international summer missions provide other connections. The church began in 1995 with about a dozen college-age students. Public pages do not specify nursery care for children under three, check-in security or volunteer screening, Communion frequency, baptism preparation, accessibility, hearing assistance, or livestream archives.
