About this church
Clearlake Seventh-day Adventist Church is a Saturday-worshiping Protestant congregation with a strong emphasis on Scripture, Christ’s return, discipleship, health, service, and Christian education. Its Clearlake roots date to February 1, 1942, when fifteen members organized in a rented Methodist church; the congregation joined the Northern California Conference in 1944 and developed a church school from a two-student home classroom begun in 1943.
Saturday Sabbath School begins at 10:00 a.m. and includes singing, mission stories, special features, and Bible study. The worship service follows at 11:15. Both are available in person and through Zoom, with access instructions provided by email. The homepage also announces a served fellowship dinner after worship, but does not state whether the meal occurs every Saturday. A midweek Zoom service begins Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. The church’s online library includes health-and-wellness presentations on plant-based cooking, hydrotherapy, poultices, charcoal, and the microbiome; many recordings are dated 2021, so they are resources rather than current events. Public pages do not specify parking, accessibility, attire, worship duration, nursery or children’s programming during services, check-in, secure pickup, volunteer screening, Communion frequency, or whether the Saturday Zoom link remains constant. Visitors should request access before the weekend.
