Corning Seventh-Day Adventist Church

About this church

Corning Seventh-day Adventist Church meets at 610 West Street on Saturday. Prayer begins at 9:00 a.m., interactive Bible study at 9:30 in the fellowship hall, and worship at 11:00 in the sanctuary. The Saturday sequence reflects the Adventist practice of Sabbath worship and gives visitors a choice between arriving for the full morning or joining the principal service. Online Bible-study resources are linked from the official site.

The congregation also operates a community-services center at 24052 Hoag Road, a separate location where free food and clothing are distributed Monday from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Keeping those two addresses distinct is important: worship takes place on West Street, while material assistance is offered at Hoag Road near East Avenue. The church belongs to the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist movement, whose ministries include education, health care, development, and disaster relief. Corning's local expression combines prayer, study, worship, and a dependable weekly response to neighbors in need. Visitors should check the events page for special Sabbaths or changes before a holiday weekend.
