Good News Fellowship Church

About this church

Good News Fellowship Church in Daly City is a Pentecostal congregation that meets for Sunday worship at 10 a.m. at its Los Banos Avenue building, with the same service also offered online through Facebook and YouTube. Services center on Spirit-filled praise, preaching and personal testimonies, and the church encourages people to take an active part rather than simply watch. Founded in 1980, it describes itself as the first Pentecostal church in Daly City and sums up its approach as a small church with less tradition and a focus on revival.

A Celebrate Recovery group meets Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in person or on Zoom, offering a Bible-based 12-step path for people working through hurts, habits and hang-ups; it does not meet on Monday holidays. Corporate prayer gathers on Zoom Tuesday evenings, and separate men's and women's Bible studies meet Wednesday evenings, the men's group in person or online and the women's group online. The church also offers fee-based individual, couples and family counseling, periodic women's ministry events, and occasional potlucks after service. It serves the wider area as a Red Cross emergency shelter site and hosts monthly food distributions with Second Harvest Food Bank. The church office is open Tuesday through Thursday during the day; times can change, so confirm on the website before visiting.
