First Baptist Church of Davis

About this church

First Baptist Church of Davis is an intergenerational and multiethnic congregation drawing people from Davis, UC Davis, and communities across Yolo County. Its Sunday gathering combines praise, Scripture, and a Bible-based sermon, while children, youth, college students, groups, and local service provide ways to form relationships during the week. The church’s stated values include being kingdom-minded, relational, prayerful, and applicable.

Sunday worship begins at 10:00 a.m. and generally lasts just over an hour. Teens and adults attend the main service; nursery through sixth grade may use age-specific Kids Groups with Bible study, music, games, crafts, and activities. Families check children in at the Family Hub and collect them from their classrooms immediately after worship. Lighthouse students meet Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. during the school year for games, worship, teaching, and small groups. Courtyard fellowship follows Sunday worship, giving first-time guests an informal chance to meet the church family. The corrected name below expands the FBC abbreviation while preserving the wording used throughout the official site.
