St. Peter's Lutheran Church

About this church

St. Peter's Lutheran Church currently publishes one summer worship service at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at 8701 Elk Grove Florin Road, followed by Sunday School for all ages at 10:45. Communion is celebrated on the first, third, and fifth Sundays, and nursery care is available for children from birth through age five. Because the homepage specifically labels the single service as an all-summer schedule, visitors planning for autumn or later should confirm whether additional worship hours return after the season.

Preschoolers through fifth graders begin Sunday School together in the sanctuary, then move into age-level classes for Bible stories and crafts. First- through fifth-graders also have KidZone on Wednesday with games, snacks, crafts, and Scripture, while middle- and high-school students connect through A.S.Y.L.U.M. Youth. St. Peter's mission emphasizes Christian growth, family care, and service in Elk Grove. Its official missions page reports 169 members sent to 23 countries over 25 years, alongside support for long-term missionaries. A first-time household can attend worship and remain for classes, using the nursery as needed and checking the current calendar for post-summer changes or midweek times.
