St. John's Episcopal Church

About this church

St. John's Episcopal Church worships Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in Fallbrook, with the service also available live on Zoom and later on YouTube. The main church entrance is at 433 North Orange Avenue; 434 North Iowa Street is the parish office and mailing address, a distinction that matters when arriving for worship. The liturgy follows the Book of Common Prayer and retains historic Episcopal structure. All baptized Christians may receive Holy Communion, while anyone preferring not to receive may come forward for a blessing.

The congregation welcomes clothing ranging from casual to formal and offers Sunday School for young people during the 10:00 service. Ushers help visitors find seating and navigate the liturgy. St. John's mission is to share the good news of Christ by welcoming and nurturing people while celebrating God's love. Its local service has a notable connection to military families near Camp Pendleton: outreach partners provide practical programs, furniture, and household goods to enlisted personnel, veterans, and their families. A newcomer can therefore expect one shared Eucharistic service, an explicit welcome across church backgrounds, youth education during worship, and both live and recorded ways to observe before attending in person.
