First Chinese Baptist Church

About this church

First Chinese Baptist Church of Fountain Valley provides parallel Sunday pathways in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. English Sunday School begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by worship and children’s worship at 11:00. Mandarin and Cantonese worship begin at 9:00, followed by Sunday School in each language at 11:00. This mirrored structure lets multilingual households attend worship and education without leaving the same congregation.

The church is located across from Mile Square Park and describes its community as committed to following Jesus and making a local impact. Ministries include individual, couple, and family counseling, along with crisis care rooted in biblical wisdom and Christian compassion. A first-time household should choose its primary language before arriving, since worship and Sunday School reverse order between English and the two Chinese-language tracks. Families using English children’s worship should check in before 11:00. Livestream access supports remote participation, while people seeking counseling or crisis support should contact the church privately for an appointment rather than relying on Sunday drop-in availability.
