About this church

CrossPoint Church has served Huntington Beach since 1964 and offers three Sunday services at 8, 9:30, and 11 a.m. The Baptist congregation is associated with both the Baptist Bible Fellowship International and Southern Baptist Convention. Worship and preaching open the Bible each week with the goal of forming wholehearted disciples who know God, love and serve others, and take the gospel into the world. The church began as Central Baptist Temple with thirteen people meeting at a school, later developing its Warner Avenue campus and Liberty Christian School.

CrossPoint Kids provides nursery and age-specific ministry during all three services, with nursing and family rooms available for parents who prefer to remain close to the sanctuary. Junior-high and high-school students meet during the 11 a.m. service after joining the congregation for opening worship, then return Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. for Scripture, worship, discipleship, and community. Missions have shaped the church since its founding, through long-term missionary support and short-term partnerships that strengthen churches and serve communities internationally. With the same children's ministry available throughout Sunday morning, families can choose a worship time primarily around their own schedule; youth families may find 11 a.m. the most complete fit.
