Shield of Faith Pentecostal Church

About this church

Shield of Faith Pentecostal Church worships at 45570 Grace Street in Indio. Its Sunday schedule starts later than many area churches: Sunday School runs from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., followed by the main worship service at noon. Classes are offered for all ages, and the adult class includes a bilingual option. The church describes the noon gathering around praise, worship, the presence of the Holy Spirit, and preaching, so a visitor can expect an explicitly Pentecostal service rather than an early-morning program.

Children's Sunday School uses Bible stories, games, activities, and monthly fellowships, with separate age-level classes. Youth and young adults also meet every other Friday at 6:00 p.m. for an “Equipping Our Generation” Bible study focused on working through a particular biblical book and building relationships. The men's ministry is organized around spiritual growth, service, and developing participants' gifts, although its page notes that individual meetings may be cancelled, making direct confirmation worthwhile. The strongest planning takeaway is the two-step Sunday: an all-ages education hour first and worship at noon. Households seeking a bilingual adult class or an alternating Friday youth gathering have specific points of connection beyond the main service.
