The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - La Jolla

About this church

At 8657 Villa La Jolla Dr, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints maintains a local meetinghouse. This is the sole meetinghouse this directory lists in La Jolla. The nearest neighboring meetinghouse is about 1.2 miles away, in San Diego.

A visit on Sunday takes about two hours total: an hour of sacrament meeting with hymns, prayers, and talks from members, then an hour of classes. There's no entry fee, and no money is collected during worship. Wards are typically organized by neighborhood, so this building may serve several congregations on staggered schedules. Many in the congregation dress formally, though visitors face no such expectation. Because schedules vary by congregation and shift from year to year, check the meetinghouse locator at churchofjesuschrist.org or call the phone number on this page to confirm the current time.
