La Mesa Village Church

About this church

La Mesa Village Church is a local Christian community meeting in a chapel in the heart of La Mesa Village. Its mission joins worship, daily Christian conduct, and spoken witness with Scripture, humble service, and sharing the grace and truth of Christ's cross in the community and the wider world. Sunday worship follows a clear pattern of songs, prayer, expository Bible teaching, Communion, and fellowship. Children through age twelve begin with the congregation and leave after the opening songs for their own class, while a mother’s room and nursery carry a live feed of the service.

The Sunday worship service begins at 10:00 a.m. Waypoint Youth Outreach meets Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., providing a separate weeknight connection for young people. The homepage says women's Bible study and Community Groups will start again soon but gives neither a date nor a stable hour, so those should not be treated as currently scheduled weekly meetings. Families can expect children to share the beginning of worship before dismissal rather than checking into a class at the door. Visitors interested in the church's preaching can review its sermon archive, and anyone seeking one of the restarting groups should wait for a dated announcement or contact the church directly.
