La Puente Church of Christ

About this church

La Puente Church of Christ is a congregation whose worship, fellowship, food distribution, and missionary partnerships connect faith with service at home and abroad. Visitors can expect a cappella congregational singing without instrumental accompaniment, reflecting the church’s understanding of New Testament worship. Mission partners identified by the church include congregations in Negril, Jamaica, and North Haiti, while its food ministry serves households in the La Puente area.

The official site contains a small but important schedule conflict: the homepage says Sunday service begins at 10:15 a.m., while the recurring calendar entry lists worship from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Visitors should confirm the current start rather than risk arriving late. Wednesday calendar entries begin at 7:00 p.m. The ministries page lists food-bank hours Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., while the calendar separately identifies a first-Friday distribution from 7:30 a.m. to noon; people seeking food should verify which arrangement applies. The visitor page emphasizes friendly greetings and sincere fellowship, but the conflicting schedules make direct confirmation especially useful for a first visit.
