Mt Calvary Lutheran Church

About this church

Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church normally offers Sunday worship at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. in Lake Arrowhead. Traditional services use organ and piano, with choir, chimes, and other musicians contributing special music; Communion is celebrated every Sunday. The church is part of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and emphasizes God’s love, grace, and forgiveness revealed in Jesus. Occasional fifth Sundays may consolidate worship into one 10:00 service, so the homepage deserves a last check before leaving.

Sunday School meets at 9:30. Nursery care serves babies through age two in the preschool building, while older children have separate classes and some begin in worship before being dismissed after the children’s message. Kidzlife meets Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. for age three through sixth grade. The church also operates a monthly free-food distribution and provides transportation or meals for elderly, sick, or injured neighbors. Families should note that classrooms occupy more than one building and use the children’s page to plan their first check-in.
