The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Lemon Grove

About this church

Lemon Grove, California has one meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, at 8472 Blossom Ln. The nearest other building is 2.8 miles away in Spring Valley, and Sunday hours here run from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.; the entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating are all wheelchair accessible.

Sacrament meeting for the Sweetwater Ward begins at 10 a.m. and runs about an hour, opening with hymns and prayer, moving into the sacrament of bread and water, and closing with member talks; a second hour of classes and Primary follows before the block ends. Attending costs nothing, and no one asks visitors for money. Some in the pews dress formally, though a first-time guest is welcome in more casual clothing. Because ward schedules are set locally and do change over time, calling ahead before a first visit is a reasonable step.
