Calvary Chapel Long Beach

About this church

Calvary Chapel Long Beach gathers for Sunday worship and Bible teaching at 9:30 a.m., with a Wednesday study at 7:00 p.m. The congregation emphasizes a straightforward rhythm of Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and service, and publishes past teaching through YouTube. Children’s ministry includes Little Lambs for toddlers and preschoolers and Club 3:16 for kindergarten through fifth grade, using age-appropriate Bible lessons, crafts, games, and snacks. Other ministries include women’s and men’s Bible studies, marriage fellowship, evangelism, prayer, worship, and a BasketFull program that provides care packages to families facing food needs.

Visitors should note an important location change: the official site currently labels Stanford Middle School at 5871 East Los Arcos Street as the church’s temporary meeting address, rather than the older Wardlow Road address in the directory. The congregation has deep roots in the city and previously worshipped at Stanford Middle School from 1988 to 2005. A food pantry is normally available on the third Sunday of each month, and mission partnerships include local homeless outreach, after-school ministry, and work in Haiti and Romania. Because a school campus and temporary address can affect entrances and room assignments, check the official homepage immediately before attending and use its current directions.
