Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church

About this church

Blessed Sacrament is a diverse Catholic parish on Sunset Boulevard in the heart of Hollywood. The parish summarizes its work as worshiping God, embracing all people, and forming disciples. First-time guests can park free behind the church, entering from Selma Avenue or Cassil Place—an important detail in a neighborhood where parking can otherwise shape the entire visit. Children’s Liturgy of the Word is offered during the 10:00 a.m. English Mass and 1:00 p.m. Spanish Mass, presenting the Sunday readings, Gospel, prayer, and music at a level designed for children.

Parish life extends into faith formation, First Communion preparation, Eucharistic adoration, and weekly reflection prompts intended for prayer or conversation before and after Mass. Community Services provides food assistance to low-income and unhoused neighbors and describes welcome, safety, and healing relationships as early steps toward ending isolation and creating routes to housing. This combination of bilingual children’s formation, neighborhood service, and specific free-parking directions gives prospective visitors a clearer picture than a schedule alone. Check the parish’s current Mass and confession listings before traveling, since feast days and community events can alter the normal calendar.
