Park Victoria Baptist Church

About this church

Park Victoria Baptist Church begins Sunday with Bible studies at 9 a.m., followed by morning worship at 10:30 and a Prayer and Share service at 3:30 p.m. Morning worship combines congregational singing, prayer, and Bible-centered teaching, with coffee and conversation available afterward. Dress ranges from casual to dressy-casual. Families worship together for the opening portion, and children in third grade and below may join a Bible class during the latter part of the service. The afternoon gathering is structured around worship, encouragement, fellowship, and people sharing with one another rather than simply repeating the morning format.

The congregation is Southern Baptist and affirms the 1963 Baptist Faith and Message. Its Milpitas story began in 1956 as the Milford Baptist Mission meeting in a home. The group later became Ford City Baptist Church, moved after its first building was condemned, and adopted the Park Victoria name when constructing on its present property in 1964. Continued growth produced an education building and the current worship center. Today, ministries include children, youth, young adults, hospitality, Bible studies, and the Dove Art Gallery. A first-time visitor seeking the main preaching service should choose 10:30; someone wanting a smaller participatory gathering can attend at 3:30. Bible-study participants should request the current class and room before arriving for the 9 a.m. hour.
