St. Paul Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church

About this church

St. Paul Assyrian Chaldean Catholic Church is a North Hollywood Eastern Catholic parish whose mission is to welcome all people, proclaim the good news of Jesus, form lifelong disciples, and help transform the world. Its liturgy carries an Eastern Rite character, supported by a mixed-voice choir that combines traditional sound with modern rhythmic music. Parish life includes Assyrian language instruction, Bible study, sacramental preparation, deacons, a parish council, and charitable committees. First Communion formation serves baptized Catholics age eight and older during the school-year months.

The parish's published weekly schedule lists Sunday Mass at 10:30 a.m., Friday Bible study at 7:00 p.m., and Assyrian language class Friday at 8:00. Confession is offered before Sunday Mass and may also be available before Holy Communion, while First Communion class meets during Sunday Mass from September through May. The official website remains online, but many of its event features and copyright references date from 2015–2018 and it does not display a current 2026 calendar. For that reason, the schedule is best treated as the parish's published standing pattern rather than independently confirmed current hours; first-time visitors should call before traveling, especially for Friday programs or sacramental preparation.
