St. Joseph Catholic Church

About this church

St. Joseph Catholic Church is a Pomona parish with English, Spanish, and Arabic weekend Masses and a strong rhythm of Eucharistic devotion. Its Sunday schedule includes an English liturgy celebrated ad orientem with Gregorian chant, giving visitors a distinct option within the parish’s multilingual life. Children, youth, young adults, sacramental preparation, and an Arab American Catholic community create several entry points into formation. Ministries also support returning Catholics, prayer requests, funeral and wedding planning, and local partners serving practical needs.

Saturday Mass begins at 5:00 p.m. in English and 7:00 in Arabic. Sunday Mass is at 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. in English, with Spanish liturgies at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.; the 11:00 service uses the ad orientem and chant form. Weekday Mass is Monday through Friday at 8:00 a.m. in English and 6:30 p.m. in Spanish. Confession is offered Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. and Saturday from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. Friday Adoration follows morning Mass until 5:00, with an all-night extension only on first Fridays. Young adults meet Friday from 7:30 to 9:30.
