Waypoint Church

About this church

Waypoint Church worships Sundays at 10:00 a.m. at 7352 Boris Court in Rohnert Park. New guests have designated parking spaces, and the church recommends that first-time families arrive about ten minutes early for children’s registration. Waypoint Kids serves children from six months through fifth grade during the service with worship, Bible stories, and activities. Middle- and high-school students join the main Sunday gathering, then meet for youth group at 6:00 p.m.

The congregation was formed when Gateway Christian Church and Faith Community Church combined during the COVID-19 period after more than 80 years of ministry between them. Its mission is to follow Jesus and help others do the same, with community life organized through children’s and youth ministry, hospitality teams, groups, missions, and practical care. A host team supports guests from the parking area through the café, sanctuary, and other spaces, reducing uncertainty for someone unfamiliar with the building. The first-visit sequence is particularly clear: use the marked guest parking, allow extra time for kids’ check-in, attend the 10:00 service, and return with teenagers at 6:00 if the youth gathering is a good fit.
