The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Roseville 2nd Ward, Roseville

About this church

The Roseville 2nd Ward meetinghouse of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is located at 1240 Junction Blvd in Roseville, California, one of two the directory lists in the city. The other meetinghouse is about two miles away, and this building includes a wheelchair-accessible entrance, parking lot, restroom, and seating.

Sunday services rotate through three congregations at this address: the Roseville 2nd Ward at 9 a.m., the Roseville 7th Ward at 10:30 a.m., and the Roseville 6th Ward at 12 p.m. Ward boundaries follow neighborhood lines, which explains why the building hosts three separate meetings back to back. Each sacrament meeting runs close to an hour and includes hymns, opening and closing prayers, the sacrament of bread and water, and talks given by members, with a second hour of classes and a Primary program for children following. Newcomers pay nothing to attend, and no offering is collected during the service. Clothing varies from suits to more casual attire, and either is acceptable for a first visit. Because ward schedules are set at the local level and do shift over time, calling ahead before showing up is a good idea.
