Point Loma Community Presbyterian Church

About this church

Point Loma Community Presbyterian Church holds Sunday services at 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. at 2128 Chatsworth Boulevard in San Diego. The 9:00 service is traditional, the 10:30 service is contemporary, and the online service blends both styles. Coffee and fellowship take place between the in-person gatherings at 10:00, with an online fellowship time after streaming worship. Parking is available in the Udall Street lot and on surrounding streets.

Children from preschool through fifth grade have their own worship gathering during both services, while nursery care serves infants from six months through age three. Students in grades six through twelve meet for Bible study, games, and relationship-building. The Presbyterian congregation also maintains mission partnerships, adult formation, music, and a dedicated memory-care worship ministry. Its visitor information is unusually practical: families can choose the same two service times for children’s programming, traditional and contemporary worship are clearly distinguished, and newcomers know where to park before arrival. Anyone unsure which gathering fits can sample the blended online service first, then choose between the earlier liturgical tone and later contemporary setting while still connecting with the same church community.
