Church of Our Saviour

About this church

Church of Our Saviour is a diverse Episcopal parish in San Gabriel with worship in English and Mandarin. The historic sanctuary, Grace Chapel, and children’s chapel support several simultaneous or complementary Sunday gatherings. Beyond worship, the parish operates adult spiritual-formation programs and maintains substantial community ministries. Our Saviour Center serves families and children in the greater El Monte area, while Jubilee Homes provides four Pasadena-area residences for adults recovering from substance use and participating in twelve-step programs. A preschool and opportunities in liturgy, service, and education add further points of connection.

Sunday begins with Rite I Holy Eucharist at 8:00 a.m. At 10:00, Rite II Eucharist with choir and livestream runs in the historic sanctuary while Mandarin Eucharist meets in Grace Chapel; children’s chapel begins at 10:10. The Garden Holy Eucharist follows at 4:00 p.m. The campus is at 535 West Roses Road. This schedule allows visitors to choose traditional-language worship, a fuller choral service, Mandarin-language worship, or the later gathering without treating them as separate churches. Adult formation includes Bible and book studies and guest presentations. Because the church calendar also lists recovery Eucharists and seasonal music, verify those additional gatherings before attending.
