San Luis Obispo United Methodist Church

About this church

San Luis Obispo United Methodist Church gathers at 10:30 a.m. Sundays, both in person on Fredericks Street and through an online worship room. A typical service includes music, prayer, a message, and Holy Communion. The congregation explicitly welcomes people across differences of age, race, ability, sexual orientation, and gender identity, connecting United Methodist worship with an open invitation to participate.

Nursery care and programs for children, youth, college-age adults, and other adults help households find an age-appropriate connection. Ministry pages also describe a Christian discussion group, fellowship, visitation, local outreach, global missions, and support for projects such as Get on the Bus and United Methodist relief work. Visitors can review recorded services before coming and use the church calendar for current activities. Families should arrive before 10:30 to locate nursery or children's programming, while remote participants can enter through the dedicated online-church link. Program details can vary by season even though the published Sunday worship hour remains consistent.
