Mission Hills Church

About this church

Mission Hills Church in San Marcos is a non-denominational church that meets Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. at 400 E. Mission Hills Court. The service lasts about 90 minutes, with a worship team leading a mix of contemporary and traditional songs, followed by a message. The setting is casual, guests can come as they are, and newcomers can pick up a welcome gift at the Connection Center. Services are livestreamed on the church website, where past sermons and podcasts are also available. Confirm the service time on the website before going.

Children from birth through fifth grade attend Sunday School classes during the service. Families check them in at terminals downstairs and receive a pickup tag, and first-time guests should arrive about 10 minutes early to register. On Wednesday evenings during the school year, the Play and Pray Kids Club offers sports, games and faith-based activities for students in TK through fifth grade. Middle and high school students meet in the Youth Room on Sunday mornings and gather again on Wednesdays for games, teaching and small groups. Adults can join life groups that meet throughout the week. Options include sermon-based groups, young adult and college groups, men's and women's Bible studies, a moms group, a single moms group and a group for empty nesters and retirees. The church also runs a preschool, which has its own website.
