Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church

About this church

Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church begins Bible Education at 9 a.m. and Sunday worship at 10 in San Pedro, with virtual worship available through its official site. The church advises early arrival because its main parking lot is limited. A Sunday service opens with prayer and a devotional Scripture before congregational praise and the message. The congregation describes itself as a diverse, born-again community committed to loving and living for God, reaching people who are unchurched, and helping believers mature in Christ.

The church's ministry directory is framed around spiritual growth, friendship, community service, and finding a practical place to contribute. Men's ministry, other fellowship groups, and Bible Study Without Walls offer routes into congregational life beyond Sunday. Its beliefs page explains salvation by faith, life guided by the Holy Spirit, mutual love and unity, and the local church's responsibility to lead people to Christ, develop mature believers, and encourage worship and service. That theological emphasis fits the church's Missionary Baptist name while giving newcomers specific expectations about teaching. Visitors should use the current official 10 a.m. time rather than an older 10:15 listing, arrive with parking constraints in mind, and choose the online option when an in-person visit is not practical.
