Christ Lutheran Church

About this church

Christ Lutheran Church in Santa Clarita worships Sundays at 8:00 and 10:30 a.m. The congregation describes itself as a midsized, traditional Lutheran church with a strong commitment to Scripture, learning, and intergenerational life. Services last about 70 to 80 minutes and are shaped by Bible readings, liturgical responses, preaching, prayer, Baptism, and Communion. Both Word and Sacrament are central, and children are explicitly welcomed in the sanctuary; sermon activity clipboards are available at the entrance.

Between services, preschoolers through sixth graders attend Sunday School from 9:15 to 10:15. During the 10:30 service, nursery care is available through age three, and Kids' Church serves preschool through third grade during the sermon before children return for Communion. Seasonal Wednesday Kids of the Kingdom sessions add instruction in belief, prayer, and Christian living. This is a particularly clear fit for families who want children visible in worship while still having age-specific options, and for visitors seeking an ancient, liturgical service whose length and structure are explained before arrival.
