Lighthouse Assembly of God

About this church

Lighthouse Assembly of God worships Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Its newcomer page describes music as a blend of traditional and contemporary selections, with some people dressing up and others arriving casually. Children's Sunday School is available, and youth meet during the 10:30 service. Wednesday programming begins at 6 p.m. with groups, fellowship, food, and deeper study of the prior Sunday teaching. The church states its mission as becoming and building passionate followers of Jesus and presents itself as committed to the well-being and growth of individuals, families, and the Shasta Lake community.

Children have a safe, fun place to learn about God every Sunday morning and Wednesday night. Every children's worker completes a background check and training. Youth workers follow the same screening and training standard, and the ministry also advertises youth camp. Connection options include a women's group, age-based ministries, events, and other small groups; an information session explains children's ministry vision and volunteer involvement. The published visitor answer to service length does not include an actual duration, so newcomers should not infer one. Public pages also leave Communion and baptism, nursery care and ages, child check-in, parking, step-free and hearing access, specific Wednesday class ages, online-service availability, and whether food has a charge or registration requirement unexplained.
