Calvary Lutheran Church

About this church

Calvary Lutheran Church in Solana Beach worships Sundays at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary and streams the service live, with past services available on YouTube. Coffee and pastries follow in the courtyard at 11. The ELCA congregation describes faith as trust in God's steadfast love and mercy through Jesus, expressed through worship, witness, justice, generosity, and service. Its ecumenical outlook recognizes fellowship with Christians and churches around the world. Online groups and programs provide additional ways to participate during the week.

KidZone meets Sundays from 9:15 to 9:55 a.m. for story-Bible lessons, crafts, drawing, and age-appropriate gospel teaching. During the traditional school year, confirmation for grades six through eight meets from 9 to 9:50 on the first three Sundays of each month, combining Scripture with Lutheran theology and preparation to affirm baptism. A Christ-centered high-school youth group serves grades nine through twelve through faith, fellowship, and activities, though its current hour is not shown. The homepage also refers broadly to student ministries at 9 a.m. in person or by Zoom, so families should confirm which schedule applies. Nursery care, accessibility, parking, and Communion cadence are not detailed online.
