About this church

St. Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church in Spring Valley is a parish of the Chaldean Catholic Diocese of St. Peter the Apostle. Sunday Masses are offered in three languages: Chaldean at 8:30 a.m., Arabic at 10 a.m., and English at noon and 5 p.m. The parish also holds a daily evening Mass at 6 p.m. in Chaldean and Arabic, and its Mass times page lists an English Mass on Saturday afternoons at 3 p.m. Mass times can change, so confirm the current schedule on the parish website before attending.

The parish runs St. Joseph Academy Preschool for children ages 2 to 5, with full-day and half-day options on weekdays. Children in third grade and older can prepare for First Holy Communion through catechism classes held on Saturday afternoons during the school year. Parents must attend required meetings and complete registration online, and the parish asks families to send questions to the dedicated communion email address. The website also lists a summer Bible study camp. The parish office is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., except Wednesdays, and can be reached by phone. The website has an online giving page, and the parish shares news on its Facebook and Instagram accounts.
