Calvary Chapel Turlock

About this church

Calvary Chapel Turlock is an evangelical congregation in downtown Turlock devoted to verse-by-verse teaching through Scripture. The church began with eight people in a home Bible study and, under its current pastor’s teaching since 2008, grew into a congregation meeting across from City Hall. Its mission is to make disciples, teach Jesus’ commands, and equip believers for ministry. Children’s and youth programs, missions, and newcomer information complement the main teaching schedule, while the beliefs page identifies the Bible as the final authority for doctrine and Christian life.

Sunday morning services begin at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. and follow a verse-by-verse format. A 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening gathering works through the Bible in a broader sequence. The church is at 147 South Broadway Avenue, and the office publishes Monday-through-Thursday hours from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Youth and children’s activities follow their own ministry calendars rather than the main service timetable. Visitors should check current announcements for holiday weekends, conferences, or other dates when the evening study may be adjusted.
