Little Church of the Desert

About this church

Little Church of the Desert is a Twentynine Palms congregation describing itself as a small but vibrant Christian family where people are welcomed, wanted, and given opportunities to grow and serve. Sunday worship combines classic and contemporary music, monthly Communion, children’s formation, and fellowship. Missions include local and wider projects, while a separate Spanish-language congregation broadens the church’s Sunday presence in the community.

English-language worship begins Sunday at 10:00 a.m., with coffee and fellowship afterward. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday and on special occasions. Junior Church serves children ages four through ten during morning worship, and a nursery room at the back of the sanctuary is available to young children and parents. Creyentes en Cristo Spanish worship begins Sunday at 1:00 p.m. The missions page also describes weekday preschool care from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; families should contact the program for enrollment details rather than treating those hours as open drop-in childcare. The worship and sermons page offers service samples for visitors who want to understand the church’s musical and preaching style before arriving.
