First Baptist Church of West Sacramento

About this church

First Baptist Church of West Sacramento is an evangelical Baptist congregation founded July 14, 1953 and affiliated with the General Association of Regular Baptist Churches. Its ministry emphasizes worship, the Gospel, biblical teaching, Baptism, Communion, spiritual growth, community care, and global mission. Weekly music mixes traditional hymns with modern songs, while Sunday School, Children’s Church, nursery, Awana, Vacation Bible School, and youth ministry support families.

The current official pages do not publish a dependable start time for the main Sunday worship service, so visitors should contact the church or consult its calendar before traveling. Youth in grades six through twelve meets Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for dinner, games, a Bible lesson, and planning for outings, mission trips, and service projects. The ministries page confirms Sunday nursery and age-appropriate Sunday School or Children’s Church but does not state their hours. Office contact hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing a practical window for confirming worship and children’s check-in. The site clearly verifies this congregation and its active ministries, but publishing an invented Sunday service time would be less useful than flagging the missing detail.
